MBBS in China is quite affordable and courses start from 1.5 lacs INR onwards. Getting MBBS admission in China is easy and involves a very simple process. Almost 48 medical universities in China are recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Mandarin is taught to MBBS students from the very first year of the course. MBBS in China is almost 6 years with one year for internship.
Most medical universities in China offer the MBBS program for 6 years. You will spend 5 years of classroom training to have solid medical knowledge. The remaining 1 year is spent on hospital internship to strengthen your clinical skills.
Jilin University
Jilin University was established in 1946 and it is located in Changchun. It was listed as a national key university in 1960. Southeast University (SEU) has been ranked among the top 20 research universities in China, and among the top 300 in the world. The university provides MBBS courses recognized by MCI (medical council of India), WHO and other professional bodies. In the official subject ranking conducted by the Ministry of Education of China, SEU has been ranked top three nationally in 8 fields.
Fujian Medical University
Fujian Medical University was established in the year 1937 and it is located in Fuzhon. It is recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional groups. The university consists of the Shangjie and Taijiang campuses covering an area of 87 hectares with the flooring space of 400,000 square metres. It is one of those universities which has an advanced system of education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study.
Anhui Medical University
The predecessor of Anhui Medical University was Dongnan Medical College, established in 1926 in Shanghai. Moved first to Huaiyuan County, Anhui Province, at the end of 1949, and then to Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, in 1952, Dongnan Medical College changed its name to Anhui Medical College. In June 1996, approved by the National Committee on Education, Anhui Medical College was renamed Anhui Medical University.
People of China speak Chinese – Standard Chinese, Mandarin (70 % of the population in China speaks Mandarin). Several other dialects used in China are Yue, Xiang, Minbei, etc. But in the major cities of the country people can also speak and understand English.
Cost
Pursuing MBBS in China will be economical for an Indian student. Studying and living in China is reasonable.
Travelling cost
Travelling to China is not much costlier, it is economical too. A person usually spends 13,000- 15,000 INR approx for a one way flight ticket.
